Testing
You can test your Paysafe Checkout integration and error handling code in the Merchant test environment as follows:
- Simulate a successful tokenization using one of the test cards.
- Simulate different 3D Secure states using a test card enabled for 3D Secure. As this is merchant test, you will be redirected to the 3D Secure Simulator, rather than the issuer's 3D secure page, where you can choose a state for the transaction.
- Simulate a failed tokenization using an invalid currency or API key or by turning off your internet (simulate using the offline option in the Network tab in Chrome developer tools) after the payment form is launched.
- Simulate a timeout using the throttling option in the Network tab in Chrome developer tools.
