Additional Supporting APIs
The following APIs can be used to support the Main Integration APIs.
|API||When to Use|
|3D Secure API||Use this API to ensure that customers enrolled in the 3D Secure Cardholder Authentication scheme are authenticated prior to processing their payment using the Card Payments API.|
|Customer Vault API||Use this API to create customer profiles and store profiles securely on the Paysafe platform. Profiles can contain details such as customer contact and billing address and linked payment methods (credit card, bank account). Paysafe returns a payment token with each payment method linked to a profile, which can be used in future payments without the need to collect customer payment details again.|
- The Hosted Payments API is no longer actively supported by Paysafe but is still functional.
- Our Card Payments, 3D Secure, Direct Debit, Alternate Payments, and Customer Vault APIs are REST-based. Many of our merchants have been with us for some time and may need to refer to our Web Services API documentation.
